What is Antimicrobial?
An Antimicrobial is a substance that kills or inhibits the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, or protozoans, as well as destroying viruses. Anti-microbial drugs either kill microbes (microbicidal) or prevent the growth of microbes (microbistatic). Disinfectants are antimicrobial substances used on non-living objects.
Anti-Microbial Labels 
Labels are currently used in many different applications where bacteria can easily contaminate and spread from surface to surface. To address this, we have an innovative anti-microbial label product that can be used normally in all conventional label applications, but with the added benefit that it inhibits the growth and spread of bacteria allowing optimal hygiene conditions to be preserved.
Anti-Microbial labels have a number of applications, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry and health organizations faced with the alarming increase in hospital acquired infections such as MRSA.
Our range of anti microbial labels include active ingredients in the anti-microbial face material that are 99.9% effective in limiting the growth of MRSA, C-Diff, Listeria, E-Coli, Salmonella and a range of other harmful bacteria.

Available in three different type of Antimicrobial materials
1/ Clear
2/ Satin Gloss 3/ Vellum
All materials are self adhesive and can be used in most manufacturers of Thermal Transfer printers. Labels can be of any size to suit the printer.
Typical laboratory test results are : -
Determination of the Antibacterial Activity against MRSA and E coli using a Test Based on Japanese Industrial Standard JIS Z 2801.
E coli 1.8E+04 < 11.11 = 3.20 = 99.94%
MRSA 2.0E+04 < 11.11 = 3.26 = 99.94%
The above data shows the change in population following contact with the surface of the samples listed for 24 hours
at 35°C under a RH of > 95%. The material uses a silver based biocide against MRSA and E coli
