Just enter details of each new visitor, or select (by clicking on) the name of a previous visitor from visitor database, and a visitor badge label will be printed.

Once a visitor has finished, their returned badge is scanned once to complete a visit.

Configuration needed for correct operation is same as for most Windows® applications:

A PC or 100% compatible computer with Windows TM 95/98, NT, 2000 or ME.
A Hard Disk with 5 Mb of free disk space.
Windows 95/98/ME with 16 Mb of RAM (32 recommended).
Windows NT/2000/XP with 32 Mb of RAM (48 recommended).
A 3.5" 1.4 Mb Floppy drive.
A VGA graphical screen or better.

Name badges
One roll of 450 visitor badges is provided, size 102 x 76 mm, thermally coated, white finish.
No ink or ribbon is required for the recommended thermal printers.
25 plastic name badge wallets are also supplied, with safety pin attachments.

Software limitations
Any number of visitor details can be stored in the system.
Any number of individual visits can be logged by the system.
Any number of individual databases can be supported by the system.
The software cannot be run concurrently across a network.

There are a variety of different types of bar codes. However, the U.P.C. symbol is the most recognized bar code in the United States, since it appears on almost every retail product. The U.P.C. symbol is the bar code representation of the UCC-12. (Universal Product Number) which consists of twelve numeric characters that uniquely identify a company's individual product. Although, the initial U.P.C. usage was focused on retail point of sale (POS), many other industries have adopted this coding structure.

FOOD LABELS Explained - - Food labels carry useful information to help you make choices about food. The food label will tell you if the food contains an additive that you may want to avoid. The nutrition information panel allows you to compare similar products and choose the one that suits your needs. The 'use by' or 'best before' date means that food stored in the recommended way will remain of good quality until that date. However, these terms are not interchangeable. For example, it may be safe to eat foods after their 'best before' date, but they may have lost quality and some nutritional value.
