Printing System
SOLO is a unique stand alone printing thermal transfer labelling solution incorporating variable data, barcode symbologies and database integration without the need for a PC or any programming.
SOLO comprises a robust thermal transfer printer, a standalone keyboard with its own onboard processor, and SOLO Studio – a powerful PC design program allowing users to design sophisticated label templates incorporating barcodes, serial numbers and other variable data. With the compact SOLO keyboard connected, these templates can then be transferred to the keyboard which can then be detached from the PC for standalone printing using simple user prompts. This makes it ideal for production and packing areas or any situation where a PC is not suitable.
SOLO is available with a range of accessories including a cutter or peeler module and an external battery pack for complete mobility. Other compatible devices include hand-held barcode scanners and weigh scales making SOLO a versatile solution with countless applications.
- Sandwich labelling
Replace your customers' outsourcing costs with SOLO and allow labels to be printed on-demand from a database containing ingredients, nutritional information, prices, best before information etc. Provide your customer with pre-printed labels containing colour images and logos.
- Weight-based labelling
SOLO can be simply integrated with weigh scales or other input devices. By including scripts for calculating prices and generating barcodes, SOLO provides an effective low-cost solution for on-demand labelling involving weight measurements.
